What a beautiful shot - I have been passing near that spot on my way to work every morning and have longed to spend a few moments there capturing those stones on my camera. We have had some gorgeous ornings during these last few weeks.
I am using my compact all the time at the moment - resolution is not brill on enlargement but it is always to hand when the light is just right.
