substance misuse... I wish I had been able to help my neighbours who were using heroin but it's really hard a) to know what to do b) not to judge c) to avoid thinking "it's their own fault anyway".
I tried to understand and think "well they must have suffered a lot in the past etc etc" but I have to admit that when they had a baby I found it harder to find them some excuses...
I wish I was able not to judge. Hope they find the courage to become clean for good.
