I feel so sorry for the people living close to Singleton Park, whenever this event takes place. I walked along the beach on Saturday, and it was so loud, even down by the observatory, that I felt like I was listening to a portable audio player through headphones. I could hear it even over at SA1. So what the people of Sketty and Brynmill go through, I dread to think, not to mention patients at Singleton. And as for the hordes of louts I passed heading for this event - many of them were intoxicated at midday, and openly peeing against the sea wall, yelling abuse at passersby, etc. Yuck. I must be getting old.
