Old Mount Pleasant hospital

Both my sons were born in Mount Pleasant when it was a maternity hospital. After it closed it was converted into residential apartments. Part of the old hospital was also devoted to elderly care. This was far removed from the days when Mount Pleasant was the local poor law hospital and workhouse!
