John Ridd from the USA asked if the monkey was still on the Mumbles Pier - well it is, but if it is the same one then it appears to have changed sex?

I read somewhere several years ago that the original monkey was somehow stolen from the pier. Goodness knows how they managed that, but there you have it. Not sure if the monkey was ever returned. But yes, judging by the two photographs here, if it is the same monkey, it has undergone some rather crude gender reassignment !!
